We are thrilled to be back with yet another amazing union to share with you. This time we are highlighting the beautiful Rochon Wedding!
Ever since the day Harmony begin to plan their wedding, I knew it would be one for the books for us.
We started out by meeting with Harmony and her girls at the hotel where we were able to capture some amazing details. While getting ready Harmony took us on a trip down memory lane. Harmony and I grew up on the same street and she reminded me how I dropped a can of tomato sauce or something on her head when we were younger. Needless to say, it left a scar.
So like most weddings, we are always in anticipation of the big day. This time we had the extreme pleasure of capturing the love story of Erika and Jared, one of favorite couples. Back in November of 2016 we shot a wedding for Erika's sister, Thea Francesconi, in the beautiful San Francisco, California. When you have sometime check out the Francesconi Wedding. It was there I found out that Erika was engaged and ready to be one with the super cool Jared.
I'll start out by saying I had an amazing time meeting Amanda and Nick. From the moment I took the first picture and looked at my lcd, I realized that this would be another wedding that I'd anticipate.
We started off the day at Parc Lafayette where I met them for the first time. Amanda is this sweet girl that also does dancing. Y'all should check her out. I shamefully stalked her instagram when I found out that she danced with Thea, another awesome bride we had last year.
Charlotte and Beau are the type of people that loves strong and hard. They hold tight and never let go. In their eyes, the love for each other trumps any obstacle they face. They will drop EVERYTHING just have that one special moment with each other. Thats exactly what I saw when photographing them. Every now and then I'd notice Beau whispering something to her. Whatever he said definitely made her feel like nothing else in the world matters but their love for each another.
As you may already know I had the extreme pleasure of shooting a beach wedding over the weekend. I must say, this is one of our most anticipated destinations for this year. When Britney decided to have her wedding in Gulf Shores, we knew that we just had to be there.
I'm super pumped up to introduce you to Britney and Tyler! Originally Britney contacted me to do their wedding in December of this year but when she told me she was having her wedding date changed and that she was going to get married in Gulf Shores, I immediately cleared my calendar for this weekend.
Wow. I am beyond ecstatic to share such a great love story with you all. This is the story of Ryan and Brittany and their beautiful wedding.
I still remember the day Courtney contacted me for their outdoor wedding; It was a Tuesday night and I was at bible study. At the moment I couldn't talk but I was very eager to respond to her the very next day! For the next few weeks we conversed about how their day would flow at the Beau Jardin, which is very beautiful might I add.
Ali and I have been chatting for a little while about their wedding so it felt like we knew each other when we met for their engagement session at Jungle Gardens in Avery Island. After seeing how Zach looks at his gal and how there's a delight in her when she's with him, I can't help but anticipate their special day.
So since the first day of the booking process we were extremely excited to work with Kristen and Ryan. She reached out on Facebook to us and literally every message was filled with anticipation of their engagement photos. In the booking process we found out some pretty cool stuff about them. So I'm sure you've ran across this in Winn Dixie or Walmart: The Cajun Spoon dry mix dinners!
It's been a busy few weeks in this year but we are glad to be back with yet another interesting love story. It all started at our church, Philadelphia Christian Church, for the Revive Soul Live event where Ruslan proposed to his, then, girlfriend Taylor. Man he was so bold that he did it before the show in front of everyone on the Revive Soul Team. Major props to you Rus.
New to the blog today is the gorgeously engaged couple, Tristan & Brennan. This is a shoot we have been anticipating for a while. As soon as Tristan got engaged we reached out to her because we just had be her photographer!
So we are already off to a great start with our first engagement shoot of the year, Angel & Jeremy. I first met Angel on September 4th, 2016 at Lafayette General hospital where my wife and I welcomed our first child into the world. She was only our nurse for just a few hours but Angel made us feel so special and comfortable. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much Angel.
So twenty sixteen has come to an end! Change is good; that's just what we have done in 2016. The past 12 months has represented much for Quinton Charles Photography in terms of brand and identity. This year and the years to come we decided to take a strong approach to photographing couples and their love for each other. We believe that every union has a unique story that should be told and shared with the world.
Hello all. It's been quite some time since the last post but we are back with another one introducing you to Erika and Jared.
I'll get straight to the point and start off by saying that I'm absolutely excited about building a relationship with this lovely couple. It's something about them...something magical when I see them in the viewfinder of my camera that words can't describe.
First off, I'd like to say this is one of the most exciting weddings that I was able to be a part of. From the time Thea told me they were getting married in San Gregorio, CA I was eager to follow them!
Even more beautiful were the people. Yes, on the outside everyone was extremely stunning but the entire bridal party and families truly have something special on the inside.
So I've waited months and months for this day to share a wedding I've been excited for since the day they booked me. It was a tremendous blessing and opportunity to be able to not only photograph but witness and be a part of Kristina & Josh's big day.
On October 8th, we started out at the Sheraton where Kristina was prepping to say yes. One thing I noticed is that she had a great support team and by that I mean she had some amazing bridesmaids.
Hello. So here's another engagement session that I've done recently. Shooting Abagail and Logan was a blast. We started off at one of her relative's house for a themed location in their kitchen. Part of their love story, which really draws me into this couple, is that they both love to cook so
the beginning of the shoot was all about that. I could see the divine connection between them and I'm sure you'll see the same through their photos. Also, I learned that they have been best friends since kindergarten during my time with them. Can't wait to see them both walking down the isle.
Howdy! Back with another blog post; this time to give the spotlight to Kristin & Josh. I had such a wonderful time capturing their best moments. But before I tell you about it I'd like to give them a huge thanks for choosing me to be a part of their journey to marriage.
One thing I can say is that everything worked out for the best. We ended up having to reschedule their session twice due to the extreme flooding here. However, it was well worth it because October 1 ended up being perfect in every way for us. It wasn't too hot nor too cold. It was just right and fresh breeze to keep us cool.
So where can I start? Everything about this day was perfect. This is one of my throwback weddings that I did in 2014. I was a second shooter and was able to get some really awesome photos. I decided to take a new approach in the editing process and re-share this day with everyone for how special it was to me. Megan Andrepont, another really great photographer, allowed me to tag along with her to the church and one of the beautiful Petroleum Club venues in Lafayette.
So I'm trying to think of one word to describe the Seneca Wedding but I can't use just one word. This day was just beyond great in every way.
It started off with the videographer and I arriving to Lauren's house as she prepped for one of the biggest moments of her life. She was excited and so was I. The man she married happens to be one of my really good friends. There's no other person on this planet that would be a better match for her.
There is so much I can say about this couple, especially Thea. Of course it's all good things I'd have to say about them.
First off I just want to give a shout out to the fine folks at the Paul & Lulu Hilliard University Art Museum in Lafayette and also the UL Alumni Center. That is such a beautiful location to photograph anyone. I hope to do an outdoor wedding there one day. It seems like every angle is perfect for me!
I'm very excited to share with you all these beautiful images. I had a great time capturing Emily and Christian. So let me give the the story on how our day went.
This day couldn't have been better. There were a few things which tried to set us back but it all worked out for our good. Originally the weather forecast predicted about 35% of rain so we were kind of worried.
I had the pleasure of capturing the union of Candice and Dejuan. They are truly complete each other's puzzle.
I went to school with Candice and she was always kind, polite and happy. I don't ever remember seeing her down. However, on her wedding day I saw a side of her I had never before seen. This seemed to be the most exciting point in her life. That day, a true love story was made between the two. It seemed almost as if it were a fairy tail. Every element of the day was magical. Her husband I had never met before the wedding but I could tell that he's the only one right for her. I can also see that there is bright future ahead of this lovely couple.
So here's my first blog post and I'm excited to share with you this wedding I did a few years about at Sunny Meade in Scott, LA. Not only was this wedding beautiful but the love story behind it was much more. Through out the day I could feel the love in the air. It helped me capture amazing moments. You could see at first site that Brittnie & James are perfect for each other. That day couldn't have been better.
